With British Rail, he started as a porter, later becoming a signalman, but after being made redundant for the third time in three years, he headed off to Ireland for fresh adventures with his new wife and his Rolleiflex Mod T camera. This book is the result and includes images taken by the author between 1974 and 1982 and four ‘must-haves’ from 1956 by Peter Barlow.
